VIDEO BLOG: Conversations with Kara and Maja - Ep. 1

Maja Toudal is an autistic psychologist, musician, and author (currently working on 2 books) and all around fantastic human being. I’ve seen her present before and felt so strongly she was a kindred spirit. I’m so excited we’ve met and connected.

Over the Spring Break, Maja and I spoke about a wide range of topics - neurodiversity, our own experiences with neurodivergence, what works and what doesn’t work in the education system, differences in Ontario and Denmark - all sorts of things. It will definitely not be our last - while this one tackled many topics as we got to them, we’re also interested in making videos together to answer questions from any interested viewers. Let us know what concepts you’d like us to discuss next.

I hope you enjoy my first episode of Conversations with Kara & Maja! (I’d like to apologize to my parents for my enthusiasm in this conversation - Professional Kara went out the window, leaving behind a trail of bad grammar, ‘Like’ as a frequent sentence filler, and a tendency to try to speak as quickly and tangentially as my thoughts, ha!)
